Who needs this Class: Nurses, Doctors, Respiratory Therapists, Dentist's, Paramedics and any Health Care Professional or Prospective Health Care Students who are wishing to acquire PALS certification

This is an American Heart Association class, and students will receive two years "Same Day" certification upon successful completion.

Price: $130

Class Duration: 5 Hours 

Who needs this Class: Nurses, Doctors, Respiratory Therapists, Dentist's, Paramedics and any Health Care Professional or Prospective Health Care Students who are wishing to renew there PALS certification.

This is an American Heart Association class, and students will receive two years "Same Day" certification upon successful completion.

Who needs this Class: Day Care workers, Fitness Instructors, Foster Parents, Safety professionals and anyone wishing to learn First Aid.

Class Duration: 3 Hours

  • Relive of choking 
  • Management of Medical Emergencies, Injuries, and environmental emergencies.

 

This is an American Heart Association class, and students will receive two years "Same Day" certification upon successful completion.

Who needs this Class: The Safe Sitter curriculum is designed exclusively for young teens in grades 6th - 8th grade (11 - 14 years old)

Class Duration: 6 Hours (Typically 9:30am - 3:30pm)

Class Content:.

The Safe Sitter® course includes instruction in babysitting skills and techniques as follows;

  • Life & Business Skills - how to manage their babysitting as a business, screening potential employers, how to judge their babysitting abilities
  • Safety Skills - recognizing the importance of being safe, being aware of potential hazards and critical thinking skills to manage the scenes safely. 
  • Child Care Skills - learn the difference in age groups, what is expected for each age group behavior, and how to defuse behavior problems as they arise with helpful management behavior tips.
  • First Aid & Rescue Skills - Building off safety skills by learning to identify various emergencies, what is appropriate for the safe sitter to manage, when to call for additional help - backup adult or calling 9-1-1.
  • CPR/Choking Rescue Techniques (children and infants) - Recognizing the signs for a person needing CPR, emphasizing on compressions and how to provide mouth-to-mouth breathing, recognizing the difference between severe choking and administering choking rescue techniques.

Additional Class Information:

This class includes student book and complimentary lunch for our students.

The class is held at our office with a trained CPROLOGIST on-site who will stay with students at all times.

We ask to please arrive 15 minutes prior the start of the class to allow time for registration. All parents/authorized legal guardians to sign-out at pick up time.

 

Price: $320

This is an American Heart Association CPR instructor class. Students can choose to become a BLS Instructor or Heartsaver Instructor. BLS Instructors must be healthcare providers and/or have the knowledge of working in a healthcare setting. BLS Instructors can teach all of the Heartsaver classes including First Aid and Bloodborne Pathogens. 

Requirement for Class:

1- Must have a valid Healthcare Provider BLS card or Heartsaver's CPR/AED/First Aid Card

2- Copy of driver license or photo ID

3- Must complete online Instructor Essential class (www.onlineaha.org). BLS Instructors must complete the BLS Instructor Essentials. Heartsaver Instructors must complete the Heartsaver Instructor Essentials. (links will be emailed at registration)

4- Have a general understanding of teaching and instructing

This class is scheduled from 9am-5pm.

Upon completing the course, the student must complete a monitoring class and it must be scheduled within 6 months of completing this course. Monitoring class will allow the student to assist in teaching one of our regularly scheduled classes and be evaluated as an Instructor. The Student will be evaluated by an approved faculty member.

Steps to completing the class: 

1) Upon completing this registration, you will receive the online link to your course within 24 hours.

2) Complete the online course and then contact us to schedule the hands-on skills testing. We are open Monday-Saturday 9am-6pm.  

3) We will issue the AHA CPR Card upon completion of the skills testing

This is an American Heart Association ACLS Class Online. The class requires every student to make an appointment with our training center upon completion of the online portion of this class, to complete the Hands-On Skills practice and testing. 

Steps to completing the class: 

1) Upon completing this registration, you will receive the online link for the course within 24 hours.

2) Complete the online course and then contact us to schedule the hands-on skills testing. We are open Monday-Saturday 9am-6pm.  

3) We will issue the AHA ACLS Card upon completion of the skills testing

This is an American Heart Association PALS Class Online. The class requires every student to make an appointment with our training center upon completion of the online portion of this class, to complete the Hands-On Skills practice and testing.
