CPR BLS (Basic Life Support)

Price: $55

Duration: 4 Hours

Audience: Any person wishing to obtain CPR Certification from the American Heart Association, including healthcare providers. 

Topics Covered: High-quality CPR, AED, and choking rescue for adults, children, & infants. Follows American Heart Association 2020 Guidelines.

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) - Initial

Price: $175

Class Duration: 10 Hours 

Audience: RNs, doctors, respiratory therapists, dentists, paramedics and any advanced healthcare professional/student.

Topics Covered: Preventing cardiac arrest, high-performance teams, early and continuous high-quality CPR, systems of care, recognition and intervention of cardiopulmonary arrest, post-cardiac arrest care, acute dysrhythmias, stroke, and acute coronary syndromes (ACS).

Pre-Course Requirements: Once you have registered for this class, you will receive a confirmation email that includes the information and link for the required Pre-Course Self Assessment and Pre-Course Work. 

BLS Add On: Once you select a date for the ACLS course, you can add BLS on as an option for $45 extra on the following page.

                                               

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) - Renewal

Price: $135

Class Duration: 6 Hours 

Audience: RNs, doctors, respiratory therapists, dentists, paramedics and any advanced healthcare professional/student.

Topics Covered: Preventing cardiac arrest, high-performance teams, early and continuous high-quality CPR, systems of care, recognition and intervention of cardiopulmonary arrest, post-cardiac arrest care, acute dysrhythmias, stroke, and acute coronary syndromes (ACS).

Heartsaver CPR/AED/First Aid

**NOTE: This course is for non-healthcare professionals who wish to obtain a CPR certification. Please refer to our CPR BLS Class if you are a healthcare professional or a prospective Healthcare student. 

Price: $95 (Including Book)

Audience: Day care workers, fitness instructors, foster parents, safety professionals, teachers and anyone wishing to learn CPR and First Aid

Topics Covered: First aid basics, medical/injury/environmental emergencies, preventing illness/injury, adult CPR and AED use, opioid-associated life-threatening emergencies, optional modules in child CPR AED & infant CPR. These topics follow American Heart Association 2020 Guidelines.

Class Duration: 6 Hours

Heartsaver First Aid Only

**NOTE: This course is for non-healthcare professionals who wish to obtain a First Aid certification. Please refer to our CPR BLS Class if you are a healthcare professional or a prospective Healthcare student. 

Price: $70

Audience: Day care workers, fitness instructors, foster parents, safety professionals and anyone wishing to learn more about the Heartsaver First Aid Only class

Topics Covered: First aid basics, medical emergencies, injury emergencies, environmental emergencies, and preventing illness/injury with American Heart Association 2020 Guidelines

Class Duration: 2 Hours

This is an American Heart Association class, and students will receive two years "Same Day" certification upon successful completion.

 

 

CPR Instructor Course

Price: $300

Duration: 5-6 hours for the instructor course & 4-5 hours for the instructor monitoring session

Audience: Any person wishing to teach CPR courses from the American Heart Association, including healthcare providers.  

Additional Information: It is very important to review our instructor packet in its entirety before registering for the course. Topics: Focuses on high-quality CPR, AHA chain of survival, AED use, ventilation with a barrier device, team importance, and choking relief.

Location: Skills session at Health Street in Houston, TX.

Certification Steps:

Duration: Online time varies; the hands-on part takes about 2-3 hours at our Houston facility.

Audience: Healthcare professionals, including RNs, doctors, paramedics, etc., needing ACLS certification Initial or renewal.

Topics: Covers preventing cardiac arrest, CPR, systems of care, and more.

This is the American Heart Association Heartsaver CPR/AED/First Aid Online Class. After online completion, schedule hands-on skills practice at our Houston, TX center or a nearby training center.

 

Price: $109 (includes online course & hands-on training)

Duration: 3-4 hours online, 1 hour hands-on at our facility.

Audience: Non-healthcare professionals, including day care workers, fitness instructors, teachers, etc. Healthcare professionals should consider the "CPR Basic Life Support (BLS)" course.

Topics: Covers first aid, medical emergencies, injury emergencies, adult CPR, AED use, opioid-associated life-threatening emergencies, and optional modules in child CPR AED & infant CPR.

Location: Hands-on skills at Health Street, 1710 S Dairy Ashford Rd #207, Houston, TX 77077.

Certification Steps:

  • Register and receive the online course link within 24 hours.
  • Complete the online course, then contact us to schedule skills testing (via text, phone call, or email).

The course includes a series of case scenario practices with simulations that reinforce important concepts. Follows the American Heart Association 2020 Guidelines.
